I am wondering if anyone knows where we can get a replacement pulley (bottom with rubber) for a Honeywell Elmo 380 Dual 8 projector with variable speed.

Your timing is good!

The motor pulley on my Elmo ST-1200 is on the verge of death and I'm looking at these people for a replacement:

Stock Drive Products / Sterling Instrument.

(Look under "Grooved Pulleys-Precision")

You need to make some careful measurements to make sure you choose the right one.

I extracted the bad pulley from mine today and I'm bringing it to work for a real close look on Monday.

(By the way: What's wrong with your pulley? It looks OK.)

The rubber is very hard (lost pliability) and no longer grips the metal wheel. Thanks for the info on replacement

In the meantime you might want to Google rubber rejuvenator and try some of that. It works pretty good.

The metal wheel IS the pulley Amy ?????

Sounds to me that all you need is a new drive belt perhaps or rubber insert on the pulley wheel maybe?
