I am relatively new to 8mm/Super 8 and am wondering how well a Eumig LS-800 external speaker would pair with the Eumig 824 Sonomatic. I'm fairly happy with the sound from the projector, but I'd like to get the sound into the room a bit more. Thanks for any comments on this.

I have no personal experience of this speaker but as it's "built for the job" it should give excellent results and can be placed near the screen.

The LS800 speaker is 4 ohms and exactly matched to give maximum power from the projector's internal amplifier. It gives much better sound than the little internal speaker on the projector, and having the speaker right up next to the screen also makes another huge difference.
But better still is taking the line output from the projector through an AVR with equalizer options, and then connected to even larger 8 ohm speakers.

I took the plunge and bought one...it should be here next week. Looking forward to experimenting with it, and possibly trying a hookup to my stereo system (which includes an equalizer). Thanks for the replies [Smile]
