I was expecting a ebay package of 10 super 8 cartoons, (I actually bought it just for "Steamboat Willie", which is a great print as well), but, along with all the other cartoons, i had an interesting cartoon, that i never even knew about.
That one was entitled, on the box "G-16: well, that's actually the title, "G 16" (or "Sally Sargent"), which appears to have been either a late 60's or early 70's saturday morning cartoon, about a teenge girl who, when not dancing with her "main man/boyfriend", is solving crimes and keeping the world safe in her secrest agent duties. A long 200ft reel, (right up to the brim, about 10 minutes, including intro action, complete title/music montage and the rest of the cartoon!). It even has pretty good color, with only the facial tones slightly pink!
I'm not sure as to whether Hanna Barbera or Filmation put this out, but it looks like it could have come from either studio.
A "reely" good reel.
There's nothing more fun than finding something that you didn't even know existed! FUN!!!!
