I had never seen this lens before in Super 8, so I thought I would share a picture of this lens.

It`s a Shinano Wide Lens. It is a 25mm f13.6 cinemascope lens.
This lens will function as your projector lens and cinemascope lens.

Since the Shinano has an f13.6 aperture, I found the picture quite a bit darker than my usual Elmo 1.0 and Kowa 8Z setup.Since the Shinano lens has a fixed focal length, that also can present a challenge if you can not move your projector around to fit your scope image on your screen.

It is very much a scope lens on a budget but its nice to see that an one in all lens was made for Super 8.

Shinano also made projectors in Japan( I dont think I have seen a Shinano Super 8 pprojector for sell overseas) My lens came with two lens sleeves. One of the lens sleeves fit my elmo projector.I am not sure what projector the other lens sleeve could used on.

I am selling my lens on eBay right now if anyone is interested in it.
