Hi Everyone,
I am having a problem with my Yelco 710 projector. I am not getting power to the bulb socket. I was wondering if anyone had a repair manual or wiring diagram or if anyone knows where I could obtain one.
Thanking all in advance,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Welcome!

Lamp circuits are pretty simple, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what the problem is. What to do about it is often another thing.

Often the problem is the socket. This machine uses the very common lamp EFP, so the socket isn't hard to find or replace.

Less commonly the problem is the switch that controls the lamp. If you can trace out this switch and hang a voltmeter across it and you have 12V across it even when the lamp is supposed to be lit: there you are. Switches are often easy to find, and often difficult to replace.

It could be the power transformer. I've never seen one go bad myself, but it could be. Hard to find, hard to replace.

Other than that? Some wiring or connection.

Does this machine have a high/low lamp setting? If so that's another switch and more things that could be wrong.

Best of luck!
