A collection to be truly admired. Mine has only about 80 or 90 features, countless cartoons, ten stooge shorts and countless Blackhawk assorted comedies.

How has the color on your "Golden Seal" held up?

Bill ...

I always thought "M" was a sound film. Was this just a early sound film they decided to release with subtitles? It was 1930, though, and it's possible it was originally released as a silent.

Take the Money and Run ... a great comedy!

WOW! Hope I have a collection like that someday. Right now, I just have the edited Scars Of Dracula.

I bought Secret Of NIMH from Kevin Faulkner but he hasn't been in contact so I don't know if he shipped it yet.

Might have one or two more in the works, don't know yet.

If you have alot of films -

Use your word processor to list the titles.

Press "1" and then TAB and write the first title.

After that, the numbering should be automatic. I used MSWORD from Microsoft Office 2000.

When done, copy and paste in here.

Uhm, very attracting thread indeed, Chip.
And my compliments for all your nice collections, pals.
Keith, yours is great too!
There's not a collection better than an other one. They are so personal... At least this is my opinion. We all know the efforts we have to face to add some missing titles to the ones we already own.
I will probably list soon mine.

Wow, fantastic collections you all have!

Osi,(ooops, I mean Chip!!!) you have two of my all time favourites; Some Like It Hot and American Graffiti. Are they mag or optical prints? How is the colour?

I have considered a big buck purchase of A.G. on 16mm in the past, but let it go.

I have hundreds of shorts on Super 8, but less than 10 features now. My shorts keep increasing and features keep decreasing!

David

I hate to say it, (as I'd love to have both of those titles you stated), but the man your thinking of isn't me. Both of those titles are quite rare.

I have those.

American Graffiti is letter boxed, optical and YEP it is for sale I recently replaced it on DVD. $300.00 including all paypoal fees and global shipping.

Some Like It Hot is magnetic, and a very funny classic film (not for sale).

Osi is right, both prints are quite hard to find.

Darn shame I don't have an available 300.00!

I'm surprised to hear that it is letterboxed and optical sound. The only letterboxed prints I have seen in optical are British theatrical features. Being an optical super 8, I'm betting that it is pin sharp?

I wish I could play along as I have far too many on all gauges, but sadly had a computer crash that caused me to lose alot of data, and I only have my 16mm's up to date at the moment, while the 8 & super 8's have yet to be re-input.... [Frown]

Gone with the Wind fits on 4 x 1200 foot reels. The mylar print makes them just under filled very slightly.

I love topics like this.
You all have very nice collections.
The Topic says Super 8 prints, so my list is very short:
features:
1.The Rescuers
about 30 Trailers and few diggest

This looks like a poor mans collection but I have a fantastic 35mm collection but I don´t want be bore you with other gauges.

Chip: what kind of print is from your list:
27. SUPERMAN THE MOVIE SCOPE MONO ADVENTURE ????

I don't understand your question for Superman the Movie.

It's definitely super 8 scope full length on mylar stock.

Oh, Chip OK, I think I know where your coming from.

American G
is in scope?

I'm still confused, as I have never seen an actual anamorphic scope print on super 8 that has an optical soundtrack. You had stated that American G was an optical print?

American Graffiti is flat letter boxed for 1.85 ratio and yes it is optical you should be able to play it with no trouble. You know what letter boxed scope prints from DVD on standard TV screens looks like, right? This is similar. Set your screen for the proper ratio image area. Zoom out and shoot the black wide bars off top and bottom and yield a great picture. This you can do with AG.

Colors are fairly good. Not pink. But as one should expect, warming trend.

5 x 400 ft reels.

$300.00 world wide PayPal fees and global shipping included.
