Could someone put up a complete list of the vintage Walt Disney Home Movie collection on super 8?

Please note: Not the Derann issues of Disney prints, just the WDHM titles.

By the way, does anyone remember when Disney started distributing they're own films for Supoer 8? I know that "Hollywood Films" and a few other companies released Disney prints before Disney started they're own distribution company.

Prior to 1974 US Disney prints were imported to the UK by GAF (Great Britain) Ltd. These were standard 8 and Super 8 sound or silent, either colour or black & white.

In 1974 Disney introduced Walt Disney Home Movies. These were printed in the UK. Initially, only the excerpts from features were available in sound (Std. 8 and Super 8, col and b/w.)

The "proper" cartoons were only available in silent form. However, far-sighted Derann (very quietly) striped these silent films and recorded sound direct from 16mm prints. I had from Derek "Pluto's Christmas Tree" and "Clock Cleaners". Derann even sold them in their original 200' boxes clearly marked silent!

That list is far from complete, I can add the following:

041 The Sorcerer's Apprentice (This number also allocated to Pinnochio Comes to Life)
657 Mickey Mouse Disco
658 Moving Day
659 Tiger Trouble
660 Pluto and the Armadillo

Those are the ones I could find right now, only because these still are in their original boxes.

And then there are all the silent versions, 50 & 200 ft.
Here are a few:

1427 Mickey's Circus
2111 The Prince and the Dragon (Sleeping Beauty)
2124 Match of the Century ( Bedknobs and Broomsticks)
2402 Clock Cleaners
2418 Trailer Horn
2425 Moose Hunters

I know I have more somewhere but these are all I can find at the moment.

Maybe if we all contributed with what we have, someone could do a really complete list stating all titles with their respective numbers.

... and there was the very good 400ft release "Mickey and His Pals", which was a compilation of the "Mickey/Donald/Goofy" shorts, most notable for the short "Whale Hunters", which I don't think was released anywhere else on super 8.

The only down-side to the WDHM releases was that they wouldn't release any of the classic Black and White shorts, thinking that modern audiences wouldn't want to see black and white, (even putting a disclaimor card in "Mickey Mouse: The First 50 Years"), which is such a shame ...

... except for, what I think is a curious choice, a 200ft release of excerpts from the "Mickey Mouse Club", highly sought after!

1102 Perilous Mission (Treasure Island)

Any idea when, or why, Walt Disney Home Movies decided to redo the covers for several of their Super 8 titles? Although the backs remained the same, the cover art was redone for a number of animated and live-action releases. (I've got two styles of boxes for "Monster from Under the Sea," "The Prince and the Dragon," etc.) WDHM came into being in the mid-Seventies, and would only be around a few short years before the Super 8 market's heyday was over, so it seems odd they'd have already felt the need to overhaul the packaging back then.
