can anyone tell me if the Eumig S 710D Uses a different claw for
standard 8 & super 8.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by your question. Iam not aware of any projector that has the means of changing the claw depending on wether or not it is standard or Super 8. What I can tell you is that if your sound machine can play both formats the claw will only have one pin. If however your machine is dedicated to Super 8 or standard 8 only it will have two pins on the claw. The only exception to this rule, as far as I know, was the Eumig silent 600 series that used a very unique claw design using two pins...I don't believe they used that particular claw assembly in their sound machines though.

hi!James the eumig S710.euse the same claw,there´s only one,for change gauge super 8 to sigle 8mm,just to chance the gate and the rolers,

i got this model it,was my first projector and after all these years still runner very smoth,
