Hey All,
I was an active member of this forum a decade ago and have recently decided to clear out my projector collection.

At some time I acquired a couple Elmo ST-1200's. Thie one being a HD-MO. I never used it, just collected it with my others. While going through them all I found this one labeled "20 FPS". It also has been modified with additional fog glass in front of the bulb.

I can only guess it was at one time a telecine rig, but with the advent of newer HD cameras without interlacing I don't know if it has any use any more.

Would a 20FPS projector still be in favor on Ebay or on here?

Or would it be wise to convert back to 24?

I'll list everything on the proper forum at a later time, but this one had me a little puzzled.

Don't worry. I'm keeping one elmo and my horror movie collection for Halloween screenings!

Thanks in advance!

Obviously, this model is always used for showing sound films, both optical and magnetic. However, if it only runs at 20fps then it's no good for showing sound films.
If you intend to sell it I suggest you get it working at 24fps.

It sounds like its made for film to video transfer! Do this machine have the variable speed knob on it?
