I would like to find a good color print of this optical sound feature, if anyone has a good copy of this.

Thank you very much.

Hi Osi

I know you are asking for optical sound. Sorry, I do not have it. But maybe this can help you...

THE ADVENTURES OF FRONTIER FREEMONT

If you can find a copy of this on super 8 flat magnetic sound, you might be interested. The way I understand it, this was a feature for cinemas that did very good at the box office. They brought the GRIZZLY ADAMS TV show to the NBC network based on the success of this film. It stars Dan Haggerty who went on to star in the NBC show.

It might even be the same movie you're looking for that has multiple titles based on international release.

You know, I hadn't thought of that Chip. I remember one person was selling a number of these low budget features on Super 8, and you could well be right.

My Grizzly copy isn't terrible, but I'd love to find a really good color copy of this. I fondly remember the TV series that was based upon this movie, and the film was actually pretty good for those 70's nature films. The only one on the same par was the original "Adventures of the Wilderness family."

It would be interesting to find out if the TV show came out first, and then they perhaps rereleased "Frontier Freemont" and retitled it, "The Adventures of Grizzly Adams."
