Here are some digests of the title you mention. One is 400', the other is unspecified.

Hey John-

You can get a brand new sealed print of "Son of Frankenstien" from this site:

http://users.tpg.com.au/leytonho/fos8/index.html

Me and a couple of other forum members have purchased from here before. The company tends to be somewhat of a mystery still. And sometimes they answer emails, sometimes they dont. But I haven't heard of anyone who didn't recieve films that were ordered and paid for.

Their a little bit pricey, but the U.S. currency is usually less than the Australian dollar amount thats listed, so keep that in mind.

Good luck!

James.

No longer James.... Now Australian dollar is stronger than US$. So what appears to be AU$10 it can be equal to US$10.12 [Wink]

Aww man Winbert, that's ashame about the U.S. dollar! [Eek!]

Jim- Sorry you weren't able to get a response from them.

We've covered this before, and I don't mean to get this thread off-topic, but...

"Films on Super 8" seems to be the absolute ODDEST super 8 business out there. For the following reasons, to name a few:

-Very high prices for films that are most likely fading (color) more and more every minute.

-When crazy collectors (like myself) are actually willing to $pend money with them, they can't be reached.

-They seem to be totally isolated from the world of collectors (no advertisings or forum activities, even if just to plug their own inventory)

-A huge web site that's "updated" every day, but nothing's ever different [Roll Eyes] .

I could go on.

Now- back to our regularly schedualed program, finding John a 200 digest of "Son of Frankenstien"!

[Wink]

James.

James, I have been physically, yes physically in person to visit this store in Sydney three times....and guess what?... it always CLOSED!! [Mad]

Don't bother again with them, as the price is way too high.

Thanks for the link to his site but no way I am paying $69.00-$85.00 for a digest; regardless Castle Films box. He has Abbott and Costello digests over $100.00! some were sold out! I'd like to know who's paying that much! I see Abbott and Costello in super 8 sound not even command $15.00 and they're the nice Castle boxes. I have several myself if anyone is interested.

John

John-

The titles that say SOLD OUT, have actually said SOLD OUT for MANY years now. No additional titles have beel SOLD OUT for over a decade, and probably never will.

James.
