I am in need of a Super 8 copy of the Walton cartoon, "The House-Cat" in colour and sound. I have a copy which unfortunately has a minute or so missing from the end and I would like to make it complete.
The story: We follow the adventures of a kitten as he grows into a larger cat. One day he sees a white female who catches his fancy. He serenades her with a song. Next, the lady is kidnapped by a rival suitor. Our hero confronts him and loses 8 1/2 of his lives until the last calls them all to come back and assist in retrieving the lady cat. Later he meets some kittens and enquires if they are his, the lady nods. However, she turns to the camera and winks.
My copy finishes just after the song. A well-known dealer thinks that the original printing equipment ran out of film. Evidently Walton didn't spot it because if they did the box would have been stamped "Second".
I need a copy to replace this end section to include the End title. I am not worried if the leader or beginning is missing as I will discard this section.
My copy is on Agfa and it would be nice if I could have a print on this stock, but I am willing to accept any colour stock.
