super 8 color sound film release!
What makes this such a great find is not only do you get the concert, but the opening acts as well as interviews with the Beatles AND... this comes on a ELMO aluminum (or is it metal, I don't know) reel, 1200ft, which is worth 40.00 to 80 dollars alone! The other significant plus is that the color is truly really good on this print. It ranges from a score of 8 out of 10 to 7 out of 10. I say "7 out of 10" because one of the reels, seems to have a slightly less colorful side to it. This is because, at times, a super 8 multi-reel release would actually have separate reels of the release coming from different film labs, OR, different film stocks would be used for the release. Therefore, the slight difference in color quality. However, I have never seen this concert on super 8 with this good of color. Hence, the price. However, I highly doubt that you will find this specific Beatles release with this good of color again. It's on the same Eastman film stock as other copies, but this one was stored for over 30 years in a nice cool dry place, hence the GREAT color.
