I am looking for Super 8 Polyester Film with soundtracks (Black or clear, in perfect condition)) to make "leaders" .

60meters or 120Meters welcome .

Hello,

Nobody has unused "Black" (prefered to clear)Super 8 Film to make tails and leaders (Polyester with mag strip as possible....) ?

It's quite difficult to find now Phil, is striped leader.

I have a small amount to use on my Hello Dolly intro but sadly not enough to be able to send you any.

Very very occasionally, small amounts do surface on e bay UK but usually only in 50ft lengths or in some cases, far less still.

Phil,

I`m curious if you could take a unused striped cartridge of Kodachrome, overexpose it, develop it, and use it as a striped leader.

I bought Kodak striped white leader from The Reel Image in the USA earlier this year. I would check with a few dealers.

Hi Andrew , Jason,

Pulling out Super 8 film from a former cartridge is a solution, but not sure this is polyester material (may be if I can find a Fuji Cartridge)......
So, why polyester is needed (prefered to acetate material)?
I want to experience a Synchro Process which required to make 3 small holes (with a small die) on the leader.
