If you want Super 8 only, I'd try to find an Elmo ST-1200HD MO.
I started with an Eumig Mark-S 710D, which is dual gauge and plays both regular and Super 8 with sound. I do like the Elmo's better as they have the 1200' capacity

I'm with Vidar on that. I just got an Elmo ST-1200HD. But if you can get one that says "MO" that means you can get film prints that support both types of soundtrack formats.
As for new film, since you are in North America I'd recommend subscribing to The Reel Image. http://thereelimage.jimdo.com/
They might even be able to help you out with a projector too!

Bienvenue sur ce forum, Ben ! What kind of films do you have ? Standard (regular) 8 or super 8 ? Silent or sound ? It could be interesting to know that before advising a prokector.
