Hi All,
So I have a version one machine and I am replacing the head presser assembly with an updated one from a version 2 machine. New Part is on the left and the old part is on the right. Does anyone have the grub screws that fit into the newer machine?
Leon is looking for the grub screw and should have it but I thought I would put it out there in case he can't find it. The new screws are smaller.

The old piece cracked here:

Magnetic sound is good but optical is warbly when this piece is cracked/broken.

Alan any sized grub screw can be very easily be found.
If you tell me what size you're after and what length, I will send you as many as you want.

They appear around M2.5 or M2 just by looking at these photos but that's purely guess work of course just from a photo.

Hey Alan,

I spent some time in the hardware aisle at Home Depot recently because our new office chair was a couple of screws short.

They have thread gauges available there for customers to use, including metric. I'm not sure if they have them this small, but maybe.

Once you know the true size, this gets much easier!

Yes the size is sooo small! If I sneeze- I could lose them! I was hoping someone would know the size.

If you like I will just send you 3 or 4 of each size so you have one or two spares starting with M2. I doubt it could possibly be any smaller than that.

I just need to know what length is ideal if you can let me know please by measuring your old piece with the screws still in it.

They appear M3 btw (possibly M4 at the outset)

I would say the length required should be the same despite the diameter change on the tapped holes.

I will even supply you with the Allen keys for them! 😂😂😂

They are drilled in a different place than your originals I notice. I hope this won't affect the performance!
The original part appears symmetrical, whereas these on the later one, clearly are not?

It doesn't appear to matter too much as these appear only to be utilized to clamp the part to the shaft near the exciter lamp?
