Hi!
I just got an Eiki RT-2 in the mail, I've got to say that it looks extremely well built! and that's because it is, and it's easy to work on, compared to my Singer 2210 it is like another world!
When I got it the lamp would not work, I quickly found out that the lamp socket had corroded, and after fixing that the light worked, then I thought I could put on a film, the first 16mm film I got: Woody Woodpecker Termites from Mars I started the projector and the film just dropped down on the floor, because the film-reel started spinning, after examining the problem I found out that the pulley containing the ratchet needed oiling, after oiling that it runs like new! my guess is that it has not been used for 20-30 years.
This is the first 16mm projector I ever have started! so I'm a bit enthusiastic
