I have just received a quantity of very dirty 16mm film.
stored in a dry wooded shed for the last 25 years
What is the best film cleaner ? and who sells it
and is there a quick way of doing it ?

You could try Isopropyl Alcohol (Isopropanol) soaked onto a lint-free cloth. Use a rewind and slowly pull the film through the folded cloth, go slowly to allow the liquid to dry off.
Turn the cloth to a clean place regularly, soak more liquid onto cloth, and continue.
