The recent postings regarding a well-known dealer who advertised an Eiki/Elf 16mm projector as an "Elf SLE NT3 Slimline Electronic" was to me a trifle misleading as it seemed to indicate it was a Slot Loader, whereas the SL appears to be an abbreviation of Slimline. It turned out that the ENT-3 was, in fact, an auto-thread model.

I have four makes of Slot Loaders and only Eiki-Elf call them Slot-Loading.
Bell & Howell are named Slot-Threading.
Elmo are called Channel Loading.
Hokushin are called Roll-Loading.

Am I being too finicky?
But, at an asking price of £800 it's a pity that the description was misleading.

No i dont think you are being finicky Maurice.
I'm not over familiar with the makes and models & which are auto thread and which are slot load. I have read up and asked various questions to various people and do understand. However, if i paid 800 and thought i was getting a slot loader and ended up with an auto thread i would be well dissapointed.
