Can anyone give details of the thread or form on the B & H lens that fits the projector such as the pitch - the diameter measures as 52mm but is it a thread or a series of grooves etc.
I have quite a few Taylor Hobson lens that were used on the 640 and need a converter for them to fit the larger housing on the 1695. If there is a company that make these does anyone have details.

You could try SRB. A few years ago they made me an adapter ring to screw into the thread on the front of the modern 16mm Bell & Howell lens.
I told them that it wasn't a standard filter thread but they said they knew the lens and made a perfect accessory for me. No doubt they may be able to help by producing an adapter to use the small diameter lens used on the earlier wooden blimp models.
