Check this out, it's really cool stuff. I got a few copies of a magazine called "Amateur Cine World", a British publication. These are from a copy from 1960. Check out the 1960 Eumig Standard 8mm sound projector. Some of you guys may recognize the ads for the old photo shops. [Smile]

I've heaps of old cine mags-from the early '30s on.I get the old 9.5mm projector adverts laminated-to stick on the wall!It is interesting to read the editorials of 1939-40(fierce patriotism-I doubt you could give German equipment away.(Rather like German magazine adverts where well known advertisers proudly add "HEIL HITLER!"at the bottom of their advertisment!)-well....at the time it seemed a good idea [Wink]

Dan,

Great stuff! I particularly like the "Living Stills" feature of the Bolex.

Thanks guys. Trev, maybe you could post a few pix of the pre WWII stuff. [Cool]

If the images in the links aren't big enough move your mouse arrow to the bottom left of the image where a "globe" will appear. Then click on the "globe". [Wink]
