Very sad to report on the death of Bert Weedon aged 91,a very famous
TV personality and musician whose book "Play in a Day" guitar
tutor sold millions of copies world wide and gave us guitarists
like Sir Paul McCartney,Pete Townsend et al.Loved by All and
missed by many,RIP Bert.

Thats a nice link Lee,thankyou.I can still remember when he used
to appear on the childrens show "Rendezvous" for ATV which I think became "The Five O'Clock Club" back in the late '50s
early '60s when I was just a kid.A truly nice man whose influence
among guitarists is phenomenal, the last time I seen him on TV
was in a documentary on guitars and also included a hero of
mine Dave Gilmour from the 'Floyd.
