Anybody out there that uses Google Earth and loves to shoot movies on film, here is something interesting to try.
Search for 415 South 32nd St, Parsons, Kansas.
We are now out in the street outside the front door of Dwaynes Photo. Look in the middle of their building, there is a small red icon. Click on it and it will launch a 360 degree view of the inside of their plant.
Now we are inside their building on December 30th, 2010. So what? Today is the very last day they will accept Kodachrome film for processing at this, the very last place on this (or any..) planet that is doing the job.
-strange: it looks a lot more peaceful than I would have guessed!
If you see my film, let me know: I had three cartridges of S8 K-40 there that day!

Not being "dog in the manger ", but I LONGED for their vehicle to appear on my country "lonnin", just to smash it to bits 'round the drivers head.I HATE bloody google and their "burglars guide books" to folks propereties, my threat still holds good though, if I CATCH, ANYONE, PHOTOGRAPHING PROPERTIES IN MY AREA FOR GOOGLE, YOU WILL SUDDENLY REMEMBER WHY BREATHING IS GOOD, NUFF' SAID!

Steve, it isn't a case of less capitals or caffeine, in this part of the world, thieves love "google" as it gives them a guide to folks properties and highlights weak spots for break ins etc, however my threat holds true to the GOOGLE guys. It's called SPYING. I might be termed as "old fashioned", but I believe in privacy, and subscribing to this questionable feature on the net, comes back to the "do I want my private bits & bobs" on the net, invariably the answer is NO, If these companies wanted you to browse through their buildings, they might have given permission, although I doubt it.. Subscribing to these "insider" sights gives weight as to why Google SHOULD, personally I think if these companies wanted me to see their workings, it would be on a public screening ground.Perhaps Google will show us "behind the scenes", although I doubt it, as for a harmless peaceful post regarding film, are you sure?
