Ah good old Doddy. One of the few surviving greats of
British comedy. I am a great fan of his. He is one of
a kind with his humour and wit. [Smile]

He performed one night in the Miners Institute that I used to run a theatre company in and I volunteered to operate follow spot for the show and he was on so long that the bulb blew but he carried on - even when some of the audience had to leave for buses. But what a pleasure to see him work - a true master and all time great.
