Here is something completely different.

On the previous discussion of the Godfrey Reggio films, Koyaanisqatsi, Powwaqatsi, & Nacoyqatsi; I have edited from two different source materials to form one new trailer.

Stay with this please if you watch it. Some may find the first part very mundane, or repetitive. But have a really close look at how some of the film was done. And watch his eyes when he is on the screen in three separate views. This really was three different cameras and takes. As he blinks his eyes the blinking will NOT be in synchronized – so they took the extra step with three cameras to film it. Brilliant.

From the 2nd original trailer, I took screen shots of the scenes and then threw them in at one second each.

The man on screen speaking the title of the movie might not be the original voice from the film. It's been a long time since I've seen it but I recall the deep bass voice was credited as Al DeReuter or something like that. Nonetheless, this version of today even if done by amateurs (the sneakers on the organ foot pedals are a dead give away) it is still remarkably done. The man in this video is Eric Holloway - and obviously the instrument is the pipe organ.

I want everyone to know that all data was downloaded from YouTube which had been uploaded by others to the website. With this said, public domain in my favor – if anyone objects to what I have done just say so and I will remove it. I didn’t do this to cause problems. I did it for the love of cinema and for the love of one heck of a motion picture.
