I have always enjoyed movies about the Hollywood motion picture business. Classic titles include Harlow, The Carpetbaggers, The Bad and the Beautiful and many more. Well yesterday I came across one of these Hollywood themed films that I have never seen before. It is titled Hollywood Story and stars the always great Richard Conte. It's basically a lightweight mystery story centered around a producer and screenwriter working at Universal International Studios in 1951. Its a great B-film and there are cameos of several of the stars of that period, including Joel McCrae, plus lots of real film studio activity at UI. I really enjoyed it and recommend it for a nice enjoyable 90 minutes:
