I came accross the abreviation c. followed by 1940 but I cannot find a "translation" of the c. I thought of 'circa" (latin for around) but I'm not sure at all, due to the sentence, that it's that. If someone could help [Big Grin]

I've just had another thought!
If the C is within a circle, and followed by a date, it could mean Copyright.

No, Maurice, the copyright symbol exists also in French (athough copyright is an English word). The sentence is : "Release 4513 coincides with the outbreak of the Second World War but the series continues up to the time production ceased c.1940 and also after post-war production resumed." I thought an actual precise date was known, hence the doubt I had with the word "circa".
