I feel it is my duty to let people know that our very own Paul A. here in the states has come up with the absolute best lamp mod for the Pathe Baby projector ever and he is willing to do more for others.

Some things to know that will answer any questions you might have

1 - This mod does not alter or destroy any part of the projector so purists can rest assured that should they need to sell the baby with the mod they could remove it and return the original lamp holder.

2 - Paul is an engineer and he has used his expertise to create a lamp holder that uses the original baby saddle clamp with a new bolt to keep the lamp perfectly in place once you set the positioning.

3 - The instructions he sends to install could not be easier to understand and you will have it up n running in a matter of minutes.

4 - It uses a 12v transformer that can easily fit into the base of the projector.

5 - Because of the modern lamp base design the Baby will now have a number of lamp options.....If you are running an SB titled film such as the 100ft titles that came in the little red pathescope boxes or the SB super reels you can safely use a 12v 20w bulb...If you are using a baby that has unsteady notch responses you c an use a 12v 10w bulb without damaging your films...OR if you are like me and have a baby that runs really well, and stops and starts the way it is designed to do you can use a 12v 15w bulb to throw a nice bright picture.. I was able to throw a 5 foot picture that was easily bright enough to enjoy..

If anyone is interested in obtaining one of these great lamp mods please contact Paul or myself with a pm..you will not be disappointed...
