I have one of these projectors and I put it away in the "too hard" basket a while ago because it smokes alot (as I know they do) and the smoke was visible on screen, and it is oil hungry. It has all its pieces etc for the dual-format and I would really like it to be used. I am thinking of some possible ideas like somehow insulating the area that the excess oil splashes on thus causing the smoke? Or putting a different motor-system in the projector? I guess these options are tricky or full of many problems to do it? Should I give-up? Any thoughts? Cheers from New Zealand
