How fabulous.
A marvellous collection in really excellent condition for their age.
The first Pathe Baby was presented in time for the Christmas trade in 1922 and continued, with various improvements, for a further 12 years.
It also had a large range of accessories, some of which can be seen in the photographs.

David...I know how to do a group search...however, I'm not getting any results for "9.5 Film". Maybe because I'm in the U.S. Please post a link.

David, that LED light looks interesting. Can you post details of it, and how bright is it compared with the normal Baby lamp.

I found the Facebook 9.5 Film Group by first searching your name David. [Smile]

Like Paul I too am interested in your LED lamp conversion. Some specifics would be very helpful. Several of us Pathe Baby owners have been searching out a viable LED lamp replacement solution for some time now. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Clinton...yes I finally found the group.

@David...I see you are using a Cree LED bulb. The beam must be very directional pointing directly at the condenser lens. This is probably why you get so much more light thru the condenser. Minimal light spillage. Great idea!

1. What is the part name/number of the Cree LED bulb you are using and where did you buy it?

2. Does the bulb come mounted on that round metal holder?

3. I see you have connected 2 leads to a power source. What is that power source?

CREE 1W 3W 5W or 10W STAR POWERLED on ebay. No I made that cylinder myself so It was more easy to center the light. It depends on what watt LED you use for the power source. Phone charger with USB will work for a 5W

Does this get very hot? I don't see a heatsink. What size base are you using....16mm/20mm?...or perhaps you could provide an Ebay link to the exact one you have. There seem to be a lot from which to chose.

20 mm no heatsink. The cilinder acts as one where it is glued onto.
