Hi all,
After a few emails i have found out the following:
Tayloreels no longer sell the 1600ft 8mm reels with the small hub.
But they are available from this web site address
http://www.filmclassic.com/Supplies.htm
They are on special offer at the moment $15.00 approx £8.50 each if you buy three, i beleive they are the plastic ones The email address is ray@filmclassic.com
I don't know how much they are to post to the UK yet, but will add this when i do.
Just to note, they are also available from Paul Fosters web site, and they are the metal ones. http://www.fosterfilms.co.uk/

The 1600' reels from Filmclassic are plastic and they are ok, but they make really bad takeup reels; they are molded plastic and don't have a sturdy hub. I ordered a metal reel from Paul Foster to use as a takeup.
