I agree with you guys. He phoned me about 2 months before he died and he was still well into the cine chat. Every time we spoke I learnt a bit more about his side of the industry, a true gent.
Yes he will be missed and I think about him every time I have anything to do with Derann.
RIP Mr Super 8, you are in our thoughts. [Smile] Kev.

Yes, I spoke with him only via email and the last email I have he sent me photos of his Super 8 Screening room. He was such a great hobbyist and a true gentleman. I felt really sad when I heard of his passing and I knew that the hobby would definitely continue but it would never be quite the same.
I do still feel the empty space-wherever you are Derek, Bravo, bravo, bravo!!
