I picked upped this B&H 8mm projector at a flea market for $5.00.It has a sound control speed knob which has to be turned all the way to the right. What I don't understand that you have to plug a cassatte player into the projector with a cassatte in the player.I don't have the cable to connect the two.

Has anyone heard of this projector? How do you get sound from it.Thanks

Bob

Bob,
Is that the 458 model? If so then the system uses whats called a Filmosound Sync system. For all intent and purposes...its a silent projector. There is a tape deck that goes with it that runs in sync with the projector. Without the tape deck or the connecting cord.....nada.
Of course...I may be wrong! [Smile]

Thanks Alan

The model number is a 358S and it is like you said.It is basically a silent model. It runs very well, not bad for 5 bucks.
