Just purchased an as new, complete with box and full accessory kit,ELMO ST600M Twin Track,in black and there is no scuff marks on any of the auto-thread channels.
OK,I can never aspire tothe heady heights of the GS range that EVERYONE on this forum seems to own!,but it will keep its bigger brother,my ST1200 company for some time to come.
I recently purchased a 'Great Uncle Elmo'- a Standard 8 Elmo FP.Think perhaps I should change my address to The House Of Elmo-and no,I dontmean Elmo Lincoln either!!*

Barry
*Come on then, who was he? No prizes but a bit of fun! [Razz]

Every Elmo has the same heart! The claw, and the other parts for the alternative movement of the film (the heart of every machine) is always the same!
So.. enjoy your Elmo!

Barry, as my wife constantly reminds me

Size is not everything [Wink] [Eek!]

Ugo's correct on that one. All the models have the same claw which ultimately does its job of placing each and every frame between the lamp, lens and screen. Its only the other bits and bobs which changed from model to model.

Gentlemen, thank you all for your learned replies.
To enlighten you on the post script on my original thread,Elmo Lincoln was in fact the first big star of Tarzan films in the good old silent days.
For Tony:Shouldnt worry about the size thing, hot meals are more appertising at my age!!!! [Big Grin]
