Ok, two things in one post.

Firstly, I've just re-subscribed to Classics list and am very impressed, not only are there some great titles on there but the presentation has improved as well so it's much easier to find your way around. Any one not getting it should check it out; http://valueservices.org/classichomecinema/

Secondly, I noticed that they are selling new prints of Ice Age, the full feature. I'm very tempted by this and might just put it on my Christmas list but wonder if any one on here has a copy? If you do perhaps you could do a review in the reviews section [Smile] .

Mike
yes there are some great new releases in there!
I was at the Blackpool Convention on Sunday - and saw some of
the new releases Phil has on offer - New Scope trailer to the
new Thunderbirds (2004)-Buddys Theatre Warner Brothers cartoon
set in a cinema & Nick Nack (fantastic)short from Pixar-about
a snowman trapped in a snow globe!
If the print quality & sound match the above - you're on to a
winner -all are recommended! Colin

Mike,

Phil had a test reel running at Blackpool, but I think the F/L prints are still a few weeks away, but if your really interested then phone him for a definate date when he'll have it in stock.

Colin & Barry, thanks for your comments. I saw much of what Phil has on offer at Ealing and bought a couple of new releases there including 'Buddies Theatre' and 'Chubb Chubbs'. Both of them are great, particularly in my view Chubb Chubbs though the sound was just a touch low. I have since ordered and received 'Knick Knack' and again have found this to be a great print of a super little animation.

I'm very interested in getting a copy of Ice Age so hope it will be of the same quality as their other recent prints, I'm also hoping that the sound quality will be good, although now I'm getting a little more confident about re-recording from DVD that might be less of a consideration?

Thanks again for your comments [Smile]

Mike
