Hi-
Forgive me if this has been brought up before. I have just discovered the UFO series on a set of DVD's a co-worker has loaned me. I have really enjoyed these Sci-Fi episodes from the 60's, just now watching them for the first time, and would like to have one or two episodes on super 8.

I know they were released in the UK in the 1970's, but I'm not sure which super 8 company released them, or how many episodes were actually released on 8.

I would really appreciate if anyone with this information could put a list of episodes on this thread.

Also, how is the quality holding up? Fading? etc....

Thanks!

Nick.

Thanks Mike!- I'm not sure if I want to bid on this one though. I was hoping for some other episodes. Hopefully, some one can post a list of available episodes, then I'll know what I'm working with.

I don't know though, its still kind of tempting.

Thanks again Mike, and let me know if you find any others out there.

Nick.

James,
6 UFO episodes exist as cutdown 400ft version. They were released by Technofilm.
- Exposed (ref. #100)
- Identified (ref. #101)
- Cat with 10 Lives (ref. #202)
- Psychobombs (ref. #203)
- Timelash (ref. #204)
- Survival (ref. #205)

"Identified" and another one ("Exposed", I *think*) were released as full length episodes on 3 x 400 ft.
I don't know if any other full episodes are available.

Quality is holding OK. My 6 cutdowns, which I projected quite recently haven't really faded.

"Identified" is an excellent episode. "Exposed" is a bit dull. So given that these are the only two full length episodes, if you want one, the one currently on Ebay, "Identified" is the one to go for. It doesn't appear very often.

I have four of the 400ft releases and the print and sound are very good. Excellent given how long ago they were produced when print quality hadn't yet peaked.

Look at the last link, there were also episodes which were not distributed outside of Italy!
