Dear all - at last here I am, i've been trying to get on to this site for months - well to cut a long story short i've been collecting super 8 for some time now - mostly features - an elmo hd 1200 and an elmo 1200d - plus a spondon long play unit and in a few weeks will take delivery of a fumeo 9119 - can anyone give me a run down on this machine - by the way this is a great site and i'm glad to be on board.

David,

Welcome to the Forum, glad you finally made it!
Congratulations on getting a Fumeo. What can you look forward to? The 9119 uses a 24 volt 200 watt bulb and has a 15.5-28mm f/1.2 zoom lens. It can play both magnetic and optical sound films, and if you have any lying around, it can use a 2,500' reel!
Pictures can be found here.

Doug

I'd actually love to see some photos of your Spondon longplay unit as I've never been able to find any pics of it.

Jan,

Try this link http://www.spondonfilms.freeserve.co.uk/cine.htm

It is sad the owner of Spondon has passed and the company no longer trades (I believe) but the website is kind of heartwarming and a nostalgic tribute.
