Hello All,

I have a question pertaining to my newly-acquired Bolex M8.

Does anyone know if the Synchronizer unit (which locked reel-to-reel playback to the projector by mechanical means) needed a 'special' model 8 or could it be used with any of the series?

I fished about here and elsewhere, but could find nothing conclusive on what is admittedly a bit of an arcane piece of gear.

I appreciate any and all input on this.
