I wanted to ask forum member's a question. If they were selling a scope feature would they include a scope lens and scope stand with the Super Eight scope feature? Or would it be better to offer a brand new Buhl scope lens and stand separately on the equipment part of this forum? I no longer have any more use for this lens and stand. I thought about including it in an auction of a scope film. Could I get much for the len's and stand if sold separately? Would anyone be interested? I paid a bundle from Dave Thomas for the lens and stand in 1997.

Thank's, Tom

What kind of stand & lens do you have? What scope feature do you have?

hi Tom, personally, I would offer them separately if you're talking about putting them on eBay. The person who wants the feature probably already has a scope setup and might not bid on the package deal, and vice versa, someone may want the lense setup and not the feature. If you're planning on offering them as a package here, you can always split them up for the right offer. [Smile]

Hi Joe:

I think you are correct not to offer the feature and scope lens and stand as one package. Thank's for the good advice. I would like to get something major out of the len's and stand. I can come away with more if I sell the lens and stand separately. That len's and stand cost me around $200.00 from Dave Thomas.

Larry:

The len's is a Buhl scope lens with a stand that I bought from Dave Thomas. The scope feature is my favorite film of ALL time "Thunderball". I picked up an IB Technicolor scope print of Thunderball in 16mm. Thunderball in Super Eight is brand new lab mint. Run once to check out the soundtracks. All original leaders intact. I paid very near $700.00 for this print. It will have a high reserve. Still on the seven four hundred foot reels in the generic film boxes. Just like the 35mm feature on seven reels. I have Thunderball in 35mm and still need a reel one. I have reel's two through seven.

Thank you for your interest.

Best, Tom
