Hi Graham, I'll see what I can do on the day. I may have to borrow a spare digi-cam, as my own is on a "go-slow" at the moment. It works when it feels like it! [Frown]

Well the Film Fair has been and gone. It was well attended, as usual, with familiar faces prsent. An abundance of 16mm but not much Super 8, unfortunately. Managed to pick up a couple of films - a mint 400ft "Blazing Saddles" in original box for £3.00 and the full feature of "Bless this House" (3 x 600ft) for £20.00. this is a little faded but not too bad. The auction yielded some bargains for 16mm Collectors with a Feature length copy of "Roaring Twenties" in mint condtion going for £60.00 amongst many others.
Especially for Graham, I did manage to take a few pictures with my "dodgy" digital camera. They should give you a flavour of the event. Next years event date is Saturday 7th March 2009 - 10.30 to 15.00.

Thanks Keith. Ive only just seen them. Its a bit like Rickmansworth which is another small cine fair but also warm and friendly inside.

Just for interest who released the 'Bless This House' full feature. I have the 4x400 version (I think Derann) and the last time I run it both the colour and sharpnes were good. Its one of my favourite films being a Sid James nut. [Smile]

A pleasure Graham. I've no idea who did the full feature of "Bless This House". Unfortunately, it doesn't have its original leader on the front, but its not in bad condition at all. Not complaining for £20.00 though.

Keith,

Powell Films released "Bless This House" and in its time it was one of the best 8mm prints (before Derann got there act together at the labs) on the market.
