I have a slight problem with my projector which i have taken out of storage. I can't get the conrol switch to turn clockwise? Only back wards.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem???

Thanks!

You'll be happy to know that this isn't a fault, but a design feature of the projector. Press the orange auto-thread button to thread the film. This moves the film through the projector very slowly. Then, you'll find you can turn the main control clockwise.

Thanks Simon it worked. Thou i have come across another problem. It seems that something is slipping slightly and i am not sure if it is the belt which is the culprit or something else as the lamp seems to be effected as well when this happens?

I have noted that the belt is a little slack and not as tight as it should? or could it be the machine needs some grease somewhere?

If anyone knows what could be the problem please let me know.

Many thanks

Well i found out what was the problem it seems one of the plastic gears has a crack in it and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how to replace these as it seems that they are attached by a small allen hexagon key so i gather i will need the right size for this? Or am i mistaken that it is a special tool that is needed or that the attachment is different?
