Hi all,

I've just bought a Grasso Cinebook from Ebay and wondered how safe they are for long term storage of film? The Cinebook appears to be made from a pvc-type material, which, I'm sure, can't be good for film? Any ideas?

Mark,

I have one and my print of "Horror of Dracula" has lived in it for years. The Cinebook does have a bit of a plastic odor, but I haven't noticed any problems.

Great for storage - practical, they look nice but, boy oh boy, they do smell a lot. I've had Grasso Library Book type boxes for over 20 years and they still have that sickly sweet plastic smell. Never seem to harm the films though.

Doug and Keith,

Thanks for your input, if neither of you have had any problems over the long term then it sounds good to me.

Mark
