Hi everyone!
I'm sure you all know by now my enthusiasm for standard (regular) 8 cine, with my (now) 4 Elmo E-80 machines, the Elmo F-80, the Ampro Futurist 8, and the Eumig Mark S.
Well!!
To add insult to injury [Big Grin] I have just sent off to Australia for an Elmo F-120. Have never seen one advertised before, so must be extremely rare. I must look it up again in Juergen's Projector book!
Saw it advertised on eBay many months ago, but the shipping was a killer. However, the seller just agreed to halve the price, so that made it do-able.
This model has a low voltage quartz halogen lamp, so should be quite reasonable in terms of illumination. Can't wait to get it and try it out.
I'll take some pictures and post them on the Forum, with a brief write-up, and let you all know whether I like it or not.

Question is: can it be adapted to take 800ft reels??????????

Meanwhile, best to all,

LAMP FOR THE ELMO F-120

Having checked the projector bible again, I discovered that the lamp for this projector is 12 volt, 120 watt. I don't think I remember a lamp of this type before. Does anyone have any idea at this stage what the type number might be? Unfortunately, there will be no instruction book with this machine when I get it, so I may have to experiment. I believe that the lamp is missing from the projector. Hopefully the lamp will be there, in which case it will be easy to find a replacement, but I am told that it needs a new one anyway.

Any suggestions most welcome.

Thanks.
