I have seen the little rust looking spots on the ends on films before, but never like this. I was watching the Kalem short The Theft of the Crown Jewels (1914) and it almost looks like some sort of mold attacking the emulsion. It runs pretty much throughout the whole short.

It is heavy bordering the darker areas.

Hi Dino,
I too have a couple of prints that do this.
A Blackhawk of CHICKENS COME HOME and a Columbia of WOMAN HATERS.
It is a real shame when this occurs.
