My wife and I were watching a STAR WARS rop-off from Japan, and though the special effects were a good level below STAR WARS, it must have been an expensive film for Japan, as the special effects are difinitely better than your average Godzilla film.

Was this ever released on Super 8? It's during the right period to have been put out on super 8. I wouldn't doubt if it was released, at least in Japan, as they had they're own releases over there.

Ahah... Message from Space. The mystery of the glowing walnuts. My very first 35mm print purchase many moons ago. It was actually the pilot for a very successful TV series, "americanized" for its theatrical release (Vic Morrow is a guest). Most of the transparencies were done in video and transfered to film. Some of the FX were used in an Arcade shoot'em up laserdisc video game (released shortly after Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair and Miyazaki's Cliff Hanger).
Anyways, I have a strange memory, at the back of my mind, that some 200fters excerpts from the TV series were released in the early 80s in France by either Film-Office or Hefa.

Hi Osi!!
A full feature was released in Spain by the company top 69,the full feature was letterboxed and take the full 2.35.1 frame(one of the more letterboxed prints that i see in my life, the bars are so big that the frame looks really small) and all the prints (100) was released on star agfa s1 stock so you can be sure all the prints from the spanish marked are in very good condition and no fade,i sell my print to a friend just 2 month ago but sometimes it appear on spanish ebay.
Regards!!
