Is Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" available on super8 sound as full-length film or any out-takes, for example the Barber Shop sequence in which Chaplin shaves a customer in time to Brahms "Hungarian Dance #5"?

Richard,

The full feature was released in super 8 by RBC films. It comes up from time to time on ebay, or through people on the forum.

Bradford - thanks for your reply.

Who are "RBC Films"? I checked google and came up with Robert Burns Film Centre in Scotland!! Derann here in the UK have told me they've never sourced a Chaplin sound film on super8.

Regards, Richard

As far as I know, RBC were the (unofficial?) editor of Chaplin's films on S8. If memory helps,I've seen a copy of the Dictator in CHC's lists-worth checking!
