Hi all,

My Elmo uses the ordinary lens F1.3 and many members here all always talk about the excellent performance of F1.1 lens and are dreaming to have the rare F1.0.

So my mind says that the lowest lens is the best one (brightest).

Now, I found someone selling Elmo lens F1.4 and yet it was sold for EUR 91.

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260527737167

With my simple calculation, that F1.4 is lower than my ordinary 1.3 and should be cheaper, but why people buy for that price?.

Any benefit form this lens? your comment please?

Hi Winbert
Your 1.3 lens is 15-25mm, The 1.4 is 25-50mm its a long throw zoom lens ideal if you are projecting a good distance from the screen. I use one for Scope as with this lens I can get the right size of image for my masking also I think its more forgiving focus wise with Scope than say the 1.1 lens.

Graham.
