Can anyone advise me what is the best type and weight of grease to use on projector gears. I'm gonna tune up my Bolex 18-5 Super. There's tons of options like lithium, silicone etc., and I'd like to make sure I use what is best. Thanks.

I use Electrolube's Special Plastic Grease (SPG) on my Elmos, expensive but excellent.

Are you talking about this?

To your opinion this is the best for our projectors gears?

I use a tube of white Lithium. You can find at hardware stores. Doesn't cost much either.

Antonis,

That's the one. It was recommended to me by an old Elmo technician.

I understand that white Lithium is also good and as Dan said it's not that expensive.
