Looking over the message boards I saw many compliments and glowing reports about Foster Films and decided to give him a try. I ordered "The Sting" and "Reaching For The Moon" and all arrived quickly. "Reaching For The Moon" was warped with sprocket damage while "The Sting" had only the slightest color fade with not a single line to be seen anywhere...practically a perfect copy and oh so sharp too!

I informed Paul of the problem with "Reaching For The Moon", which apparently he was unaware of. Being the true gentleman he is he asked not a single question about the film and took what I said purely at my own description and told me to keep the film and asked me to select another film of my choice. I took him up on his generous offer and selected "Lonesome Ghosts" which is a Derann print. He did not even want anything for shipping and it arrived today and I projected it and the color is just to die for and the picture is razor sharp too!

It is refreshing to find someone who wants to please his cutstomers and goes the extra mile to make them happy...it is indeed rare these days!

I've always found Paul to be first class.

On the rare occasion I've been less than happy he's had no problem with a full refund.

One of the gems of my collection is a fantastic 16mm original WEREWOLF OF LONDON which I got from Paul a few years ago.

Whilst I applaud Paul for his willingness to be helpful and bring matters to such a pleasing conclusion, considering the problems with one of your films, I'd say it's only reasonable to offer you an alternative and not charge postage (as you had already paid postage for the original choice) - it would be disappointing and exasperating if a dealer didn't do this. It was good of him not to put you to the trouble and expense of returning the damaged film, though.
