How long should 50' of super 8 film run at 24 fps?

Thanks Douglas, much appreciated. As you probably realise I am new to this and it is a steep learning curve. I am wanting to put 8mm film to DVD.

Now I am running standard 8. What I believe to be 50' reels are running at 3 min 40 secs. Does this sound correct for standard 8?

Paul,

Correct! 50 feet of Standard 8mm shot at 18fps will come in at 3:42.

Funny, I didn't even know films had a run time ...

Heck, I didn't know that they could even jog!

(alright, I'll shut up now!) [Big Grin]
